Is the service up?
Open api.zukko.pro/api/status: ok — yes, degraded — some models have issues, maintenance — maintenance.

Does the key work?

Does the model exist?
Match the name against api.zukko.pro/v1/models letter for letter.

What you see	What to do
`401`, "Invalid API key"	Typo in the key or it was revoked. Copy it again or create a new one
`402`, `insufficient_balance`	Top up — no restart needed
`403`, `email_unverified`	Verify your email using the link in the email
`403`, `model_not_allowed_for_key`	Allow the model in the key settings
`429`, `key_daily_limit_reached` / `key_monthly_limit_reached`	Your own key limit kicked in. Raise it or wait for the reset: 00:00 UTC or the 1st
`429` without a Zukko code, "rate limit"	The model is overloaded. Retry in 10–30 seconds or pick another
`404`, `model_not_found`	Typo in the name. Check the model list
`400`, `model_retired`	The model was retired — the error says which one to use
`503`, `model_disabled`	The model is off — pick another
`502`, `503`, other 5xx	The model isn't responding. Retry in 10–30 seconds or use a model listed in the error text
`503`, `maintenance`	Maintenance, retry in about 10 minutes
No answer for a long time, timeout	Strong models think for 30–60 seconds. Set the timeout to 120–300 seconds and turn on streaming
`413`, `payload_too_large`	The request is over 32 MB — shrink images or files
The answer is cut off	Raise `max_tokens`

Get it wrong and every request returns 404.

What you see	What to do
Claude Code asks you to log in to Anthropic	The key goes in `ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN`, not `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`. Check the commas in `settings.json`. Run `/logout`
Cursor bypasses Zukko	Turn on Override OpenAI Base URL with `https://api.zukko.pro/v1`. Requires Cursor Pro
Cursor won't add the model	Use the Cursor names: `cursor-sonnet-5`, `cursor-opus-55`

Try another network (mobile data instead of Wi-Fi) or use Zukko in Telegram: @zukkopro_bot has top-ups and chat with models.

Wait 2–5 minutes and refresh the payments page.
