A GPT chatbot in Russian is an ordinary dialogue window in which you type a question in Russian and a language model replies with text. The word GPT here means the OpenAI model family, but Claude and others work on the same principle. Below we explain what it is, how to open a Russian-language chat with GPT and Claude models in the browser without a subscription, how to choose a model for the task and what a typical dialogue costs. You can top up the balance from Russia by SBP, MasterCard or crypto.
What a GPT chatbot is
It is a program that takes your text and continues it the way a person would in a conversation. Inside runs a large language model (LLM): it was trained on a huge amount of text, so it can write, translate, explain, make plans and fix code. The chat is only a shell. The same interface can be connected to different models, and the results will differ.
It is important to understand that a model does not "search the internet" by default and can be wrong, especially on dates, numbers, links and narrow facts. For anything important, check the answer against a primary source.
How to open a chat in Russian
Zukko's browser chat is at zukko.pro/app/chat. Steps:
- Register at zukko.pro.
- Top up the balance from $1 by any method: SBP (the payment page adds 8.5% on top), cryptocurrency or a MasterCard (about 13%, amounts $2-$594).
- Open the chat and choose a model from the available list. The current list and prices are on the "Models" page in the dashboard.
- Write in Russian. No language settings are needed: models understand Russian and answer in it if you write in it.
There is no subscription: you pay for tokens used. The first steps are described in detail in the beginner's guide.
Which model to choose
Choose by price, context size and strength index (Intelligence Index from Artificial Analysis), then test on your own tasks. Prices as of October 18, 2026, $ per 1M tokens:
| Model | Input / output | Context | Images | Index |
|---|---|---|---|---|
claude-sonnet-5-5 | 0.4 / 2 | 1M | yes | 48 |
gpt-6.1-sol | 0.27 / 1.32 | 1M | yes | 52 |
gpt-6-luna | 0.04 / 0.21 | 1M | no | 38 |
deepseek-v4.1-flash | 0.013 / 0.038 | 1M | no | 39 |
claude-opus-5-5 | 0.8 / 4 | 1M | yes | 58 |
A practical rule: for chatting, rephrasing and simple questions, cheap models are enough; for long texts, hard reasoning and file analysis, try the strong ones. If unsure, ask two models the same question and compare answers; it takes a minute. Other approaches to choosing are covered in the article on choosing a model for a chatbot.
What a dialogue costs
First, the mechanics: with each new message the model is sent the whole conversation history again. That is why a long chat costs more than a short one, and a new question on a new topic is better started in a new dialogue.
A calculation for a typical dialogue of 10 exchanges: your message is about 100 tokens and the reply about 300. Input tokens accumulate: at message k the input is 400 x (k - 1) + 100. The sum over 10 messages: 400 x (0 + 1 + ... + 9) + 10 x 100 = 400 x 45 + 1,000 = 19,000 input tokens. Output: 10 x 300 = 3,000 tokens.
gpt-6.1-sol: 0.019 x 0.27 + 0.003 x 1.32 = 0.00513 + 0.00396 = about $0.009claude-sonnet-5-5: 0.019 x 0.4 + 0.003 x 2 = 0.0076 + 0.006 = $0.0136gpt-6-luna: 0.019 x 0.04 + 0.003 x 0.21 = 0.00076 + 0.00063 = about $0.0014deepseek-v4.1-flash: 0.019 x 0.013 + 0.003 x 0.038 = 0.000247 + 0.000114 = about $0.0004
This is a calculation on assumed volumes: real answers are often much longer, and Russian text usually takes more tokens than English. The actual cost of each dialogue is visible in the "Usage" section of the dashboard. Some providers reduce the price of a repeated start of a dialogue through cache, but we do not use it in this calculation and count at the input price.
How to write requests so the answer is useful
- Set a role and a goal. "You are an editor; rewrite this paragraph shorter and without officialese" works better than "improve".
- Give context. Who the text is for, what tone, what has been decided.
- State the format. A list of five points, a table, a 100-word letter.
- Ask step by step. For complex tasks, a plan first, then the implementation.
- Correct within the dialogue. "Shorter", "add an example", "remove the second point" are cheaper than a new request from scratch.
If you need code rather than a chat
The same key works in the API. A minimal Python example with a GPT model:
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.zukko.pro/v1", api_key="fetch_your_key")
answer = client.chat.completions.create(
model="gpt-6.1-sol",
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Explain what inflation is in three sentences."}],
)
print(answer.choices[0].message.content)When each is more convenient is covered in browser chat or API. If you are specifically interested in access from Russia, see the article ChatGPT in Russia.
FAQ
Do I need a subscription?
No. Payment is for tokens from a shared balance. You can top up from $1.
Does a GPT chatbot understand Russian?
Yes, Russian-language requests work on GPT and Claude models. Write the way you are used to and ask it to answer in Russian if a reply comes in another language.
How does GPT differ from Claude?
They are models from different developers with different prices, context and indexes. Do not rely on general phrases like "writes better": ask both the same question and look at the answers.
Can I use it for free?
There is no free access. There is a one-time $0.50 for subscribing to the Telegram channel @zukkopro. On short dialogues this amount gives a noticeable number of messages; calculate with the formula above.
